Osparna is a new kind of Technology Due Diligence firm.
It was founded by Builders, not Auditors, and borne out of our experience at one of the highest transactional strategic investment firms. We know what to look for because we’ve seen, evaluated, and explained it.
Our background as Builders allows us to establish quick rapport with the team at a potential portfolio company. Having informed and made investment decisions ourselves, we are able to communicate clearly and succinctly with clients.
In short, we live in both worlds — and move fluently between them.
What’s in a name
We wanted a name that meant both what we do and how we do it. “Diligence” was taken — so we reached back a few thousand years.
Osparna is an ancient word, from the Persian-era decrees in the book of Ezra, for doing a thing the way it has to be done: diligently, exactly, thoroughly, without delay. Long before “due diligence” was a line item, there was already a word for getting it right.
That’s the standard. That’s the name.
