In addition to technology due diligence, Osparna is a team of builders. Like a lot of people, what we build outside of work is often born directly out of our own needs. In my case, while I was working on my homelab, I realized I needed a way to track services mapped to their host -- so SimpleTracker was born. Linnet's daughter is on the horse show circuit, and she's been thinking a lot about the needs of that community as a result. Carl is a hard-core developer with more side projects than I can name. Matt is deep in AI-related technology.
Why does that matter to you? Because when you engage with Osparna, you're getting a team that has a real, current understanding of what it actually takes to build and deploy product at every scale -- not a theoretical one. Our outside projects and experience inform how we think about the diligence process itself, how we talk with our customers, and how we engage with the team at the company we're evaluating. We know what to look for because we build.
I work with people I like. That's not a small thing, and it shows up in the work.
